Primary Care
Newborns
Expecting parents can set up with one of our pediatricians. When you go into hospital to deliver, the labour and delivery department will ask for a pediatrician. Just mention Dr. B or Wee Care Pediatrics. After the is baby born, your hospital will calls us and your pediatrician will come.
If your selected pediatrician doesn’t see you, they have an on call doctor to do the initial check up and to give the okay to discharge the baby home. In 2-3 days after discharge, you can then contact us via phone at 702-889-8444 and schedule a newborn appointment.

We provide complete well care for all ages from birth up to 18 years of age. What a well care visit focuses on is the health and well-being of your child, when your child is without illness. During these visits, our providers will focus on guidance regarding nutrition, growth and development, immunizations, and detection of potential problems through routine screening tests, and exams. During your child’s well check visit, it is also a good time to get to know your provider better, as well as to bring up questions regarding the well-being of your child.

Wee Care Pediatrics Services
At Wee Care Pediatrics, we strive to provide up to date, complete, and comprehensive care for your child. We believe in maintaining the Medical “home” so that the majority of your child’s needs can be met right on site, or through one of our additional locations. Some of our services that we provide are included below:

At Wee Care Pediatrics, we follow the vaccine schedule as supported and recommended by the Center for Disease and Control (CDC), as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. We strongly believe that immunization is the best preventative practice, when it comes to preventing serious illness in children. Vaccines are very safe and effective despite an abundance of misinformation that is out there. When in doubt, speak with your doctor about any fears or questions you may have. At each and every age of a child, not only is it of utmost importance to us that your child maintains a healthy and balanced diet, but most often the subject of nutrition is one of the most common concerns of our parents. Through the use of up to date dietary recommendations, BMI and growth charts, we will guide you through each age to make sure that your child is growing properly and reaching their fullest potential.

During your well visits, we will always focus on the “ages and stages” of your child’s development to make sure that they are on track and hitting all of their developmental milestones. In addition to our routine screening, we also screen for autism at certain key ages and provide depression and mental wellness screening for our older children.

Sometimes, if a child might be struggling in school, and if there might be a concern of lack of focus, impulse control or hyperactivity, it might be recommended to have a child screened for attention deficit disorder (ADD) or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our office provides this screening and, if necessary, we can treat children with this diagnosis as well.
At various ages, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, we screen our children for vision and hearing deficits, as well as diabetes, high cholesterol, and anemia. We may also do lung function tests and do electrocardiograms.
